@Ange_Amene Are they going after Jewish voters or really calling the PM of Israel to task? That seems to be where I am seeing some black democrats leaning in their explanation of their votes in support of Massie's amendment
@reesetheone1 I think another Israeli PM doesnt face the same backlash this current one does. Looks like it may be a bipartisan dislike for him especially with the young folks
@reesetheone1 he doesnt understand how this politics thing works. We will find out all his secrets and some that may come up may even affect his espn job. He better stay where he is adored
@THEChrisKessell@alexkessell9 I can relate with what you are saying. My son's team is predominantly black boys and their coach hates flopping so he coaches them not to do so. The stuff other kids are allowed to do to them is quite a sight to behold. Sometimes they leave the game bleeding and dont get calls.
@jrichardgoodman I think US dominance in basketball may also be coming to an end. I dont know if we have the talent like Kobe, Steph, Bron, and the likes in this new crop of US athletes. The last FIBA tournament should be a warning siren for the US. We will be talking about basketball issues soon
@jrichardgoodman I dont think it should be free. I think some of the leagues and programs should be subsidized by some of the professional teams in the community. It wouldnt hurt to have an academy where the top-tier talent in the community are trained to prepare for the big leagues
@briizyf_@KiraR Lots of people getting rich from the terrible state of US youth soccer, so it will take alot to get people to change it. In our club, we try to make it more community focused than profit-driven. The local comapnies only want to fund clubs that are big names so that doesnt help
@briizyf_@KiraR I hope the discussion about youth soccer in the US leads to drastic changes in the way soccer is done. I think youth sports need a drastic overhaul generally. Basketball, I think, is next in this problematic trend. I can see the US losing its position of superiority in the sport
@samesfandiari Now that European countries are starting to take basketball seriously, we are starting to see them produce talent that are either as good as some of our best or even better than many of them. We can see that trend in the NBA too.
@briizyf_@KiraR You're so right. Many coaches at the youth level just do coaching for a job and don't really care about the sport. I once heard a parent relay a story about their child's coach being so tired during training because he was a full-time janitor and coaching was just a side hustle.
