On this day, 11th April, my old man Tony Otoa Snr and his crew led by Oyite Ojok took over Radio Uganda to announce the overthrow of Idi Amin in 1979. He was part of Kikosi Maalum (Special Forces).
This group was formed in Tanzania during his exile days in the 1970s. I miss his stories and his presence 🙏🏿
