@TurkishAirlines since you are a @staralliance member, I demand compensation for my missed NON REFUNDABLE flight from Islamabad to Kuala Lumpur via @ThaiAirways which I missed ONLY BECAUSE YOU CHANGED MY FLIGHT 2 HOURS BEFORE I HAD TO FLY.
@TurkishAirlines I will NEVER fly with you again and I will warn EVERYONE to never fly with you.
My mother had the same flight after 10 days I.e. Amsterdam-Istanbul-Lahore and she got an email that her flight was changed. She then moved her flight from 17th to 23rd to be safe.
@TurkishAirlines but the manager steward told me that "we do not have a window seat for you, if you do not want to sit in your seat, you can get off the plane and come on the next flight". This was after 35 hours of torture and panic attacks and crying.
@TurkishAirlines I had gotten the boarding card with a window seat because I was exhausted after the last 35 hours of traveling but since the plane changed, the seats were also different and I was in the middle seats. I requested the staff for a window seat.
@TurkishAirlines The next day, I reached the gate with my grandmother and just before the flight was set to take off, the gate and plane were changed. The flight was delayed for 2 hours again.
@TurkishAirlines the drive to the hotel was another 1 hour and after dragging my luggage up the steps (because there was no bell boy at the hotel), I made it to the room at 2.30 am (6 hours after I landed at Turkey Airport).
@TurkishAirlines I then had to wait almost 40 minutes at that counter without WiFi (it was almost 1 am at this point and I initially reached Turkey at 8.30 pm)
@TurkishAirlines then I dragged my luggage all the way across the airport to the hotel counter (where another business class passenger was crying with TEARS because of a similar situation) and was told to wait further.
@TurkishAirlines I went to the luggage counter to get my suitcases out of holding as my grandmother's medication was inside. I was told it would take 1.5 hours just to give me my suitcases. I made my grandmother sleep on the hard metal bench in that office because she was ill
@TurkishAirlines I had to beg someone at the airport to let me use their phone for the WiFi code and had to purchase 2 visas for Turkey FOR OVER A $100 just because YOU CANCELLED MY FLUGHT 2 HOURS BEFORE I HAD TO FLY.
@TurkishAirlines looking at the state of my ailing grandmother I told them to then give me the hotel service since now it was 24 hours to my next flight and the counter said I had to sit there and purchase a visa. My complimentary one hour Internet had expired.
@TurkishAirlines I begged the staff to send me to dubai so I could just purchase the earliest flight to Pakistan - because my Thai Airways flights & bookings were worth $2500 but they refused to help me. They made me call the call center who also said there was nothing to be done
@TurkishAirlines I told the complaint center that I had a non refundable flight from Islamabad to Kuala Lumpur via Thai Airways on the 10th of July (which is why I had to reach Pakistan on 9th of July) but you guys cancelled my 9th July flight without notice.
@TurkishAirlines I then ran across the airport to the complaint desk where multiple people were crying with young kids because of the same situation.
I asked the counter for help and they said there was nothing they could do.
@TurkishAirlines I ran with her across your airport and reached the gate at 8.57 pm as my next flight was scheduled for 9.06pm but no-one was at the gate and my flight had left.
@TurkishAirlines I asked the crew for help because I was getting a panic attack and they said ground staff will help me. There was no ground staff when I got off the plane and I had to run with my grandmother who has a hearing disability and she is diabetic.
