As a British officer for 22 years, often alongside the US Army, I greatly respect it: vital for WW2 victory . But if the one country standing after the fall of France were ‘cowards’ you have an odd definition of it.

@afneil Completely agree Andrew. I have been on peacekeeping missions, and Rules of Engagement (designed as they are by lawyers safe at home) are always problematic in practice: here more than most.

@piersmorgan He’s past it. How can the US system possibly give its electorate a choice between him and (hopefully not) Trump? The US president must lead the free world with dignity, probity and credibility. Those two offer none of this.
