Structure fire in Brookland on @IDriveArkansas cameras. This looks very close to where there was a lightning strike in the earlier storms but not positive that was the cause #arwx
@MicahStevensWx@ryanvaughan It was so cool! This is the fun part of weather that most people locked in on severe weather forget about. Not damaging, and just an excellent example of Mother Nature.
Possible tropical funnels from this storm near Lake Frierson. Looking northwest from Brookland. Notice the little helical funnel near the bottom of the one to the right. I’ll let the station meteorologists verify if this is a tropical funnel or cold air funnel @ryanvaughan@MicahStevensWx #arwx
Textbook SLC (scary looking cloud) looking north west from Kirk Field in Paragould. No worries though, so far today all storms have been sub-severe, and the atmosphere isn’t conducive for tornadoes. #arwx@ryanvaughan@MicahStevensWx
@WxZachary I absolutely enjoyed the low threat, storm watching chance I got yesterday. Experience Mother Nature, get a little too close to lightning, and see the dark skies. It is a lot better than the circus we have seen on the plains lately.
@dubsinfive What do to take? After I had Covid I had bad migraines and vertigo and they gave me Nurtec. That would knock it right out. But once I lost my insurance from my old job I couldn’t afford it, it was like 1,000 or more for a months supply.
I think I see a -10 on that list. JK. But I think Trey Greenwood hit it pretty much on the nose. Below average, with a couple high end tornadoes mixed in overall. I do storm work, and we’ve not had a lull in hurricanes like this in years. Seems all the significant storms are trending north.
@J_master_caster We were upset to say the least, but I know that the services were stretched thin at that moment. We moved on and took it upon ourselves to check on residents.
