@ThomasERickard What happened? Did you take modifications that were approved at this recent GA and apply them immediately to the existing BCO in your app? Something like that?
@romerogamesltd@idSoftware I never knew him, never met him, and somehow still miss him. I loved his music growing up, and what little I’ve heard from him as a person was nothing but professional and warm.
Fascinating. Nice find. I’m curious what quality control measures they use. Were there two different sources supplying the lyrics for the same song? Were there two printing periods within the same year after a correction was made?
So we found a problem in the Sing! hymnal this morning.
Verse 2 on “Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing” is different between the pew hymnal and the spiral bound the musicians use. They were both printed in 2025, so how did that happen!
(We prefer, “Here I raise mine Ebenezer…”)
538 in Trinity Psalter Hymnal. In digital and print. End bar line looks strange. The smaller middle note of chord is not a problem, but the offset and its abnormally long stem are.
Psalm 48A in Trinity Psalter Hymnal. Second system, 7th beat. Why does the beam go upwards (red) when connecting to a note that is lower? It should be going down (green). I wonder if this was a mistaken manual override? What software was used to enter this?
Trinity Psalter Hymnal. Tune: CONSTANCE. Numbers 136 and 475. 2nd beat of 4th system. Left hand. G and B-flat in one, G and G in the other. Which is correct? I believe the former.
Has a non-constitutionally binding DFW meant that all this time errant practice could not be curtailed? Did it foster a “Show me where it says I can’t” mentality?
When the DFW is made constitutional, what actually changes? I guess it’ll be nice to be out of limbo, but after it’s all said and done, what changes? Anything? Are churches going to change how they worship or what they do in worship? Just curious. #pcaga
