Most walkthrough evaluations can spot energy in ten minutes. Almost none of them can spot whether the lesson actually worked. That gap is where this series starts.

Engagement surveys and achievement data don't move together as often as people assume. A class can feel great and still leave gaps nobody catches until the test.

This is close to a checklist an instructional coach could use in a five-minute post-observation conversation, not just a slogan on a poster.

The lessons alone weren't the whole story here. The gain showed up when ready-made materials were paired with support in how to use them, not from the materials sitting in a folder.

This is as much a workload question as an instructional one. Adapting a strong resource takes a fraction of the planning time that building one from nothing does.

Plenty of pay scales still add a bump for an advanced degree regardless of subject match. The research those policies lean on is thinner than the raise implies.

This looks less like a professional development calendar and more like a habit loop, something closer to ongoing than a workshop that happens twice a year.

Same idea shows up everywhere in accountability work. Credentials tell you what someone completed. Evidence tells you what actually happened in the room.
