Understandably, whenever Haku manages to find some time to himself— - sometimes even sneaking away to become a guest in Howl's castle - —he can sleep for days on end if left alone.

Yubaba has no bones about running Haku ragged. Along with being in charge of the staff while the sento is open, Haku also tends to animals, feeds Kamaji's susuwatari, and runs errands for Yubaba during the daylight hours. -

Haku's ability to fly isn't connected to his feral, dragon form. This means that, to be able to take flight, it doesn't necessarily matter whether he appears human or like a dragon. Flying as a dragon, however, is easier and much less peculiar to see.
