@robbys_toupee I recommend ‘this is going to hurt’ by Adam Kay, and ‘you don’t have to be mad to work here’ by Dr Benji Waterhouse, and ‘and how does that make you feel’ by Joshua Fletcher
At the same branch. I found him very rude, he tried to make me feel bad by saying he was ‘going to have to break the rules’. I don’t feel that this is any way to treat a paying customer (and a local regular!). Very upset. /end
@PizzaExpress you might want to better educate your Worcester staff on how to treat customers with hidden disabilities. I’m autistic and just wanted to order from the kids menu and ended up having to ask for the manager despite never having an issue doing this before/1
What exactly are you supposed to do when you’re autistic, massively lonely and depressed, but you can’t have therapy (too expensive and not adapted), can’t have antidepressants (tried and didn’t work) and all the advice says to get a pet and you can’t have one because renting?
@linmeitalks The thing that makes no sense about it to me is that the older people often can’t do the job properly. Went to Asda today and needed someone to put the code in the (malfunctioning) self service. Old lady employee moved at the pace of a snail.
@theoceanblooms Literally like he’s not a real doctor and she didn’t even actually mention the (kinda) universally recognised symptom (RLQ pain). She just… said she was gassy. I mean, what was he supposed to do, yell ‘ambulance STAT!’?!
@IamCarrieagain I know but our doctors often have issues like these - GPs are meant to prescribe whatever the psychiatrist tells them to- but sometimes GPs think they know better. Someone at CMHT will happily get that GP to do as they’re told.
@puppygirl_avery Sorry everyone is being like this @puppygirl_avery . People really shouldn’t be recommending dosages to anyone when they are a) not a doctor and b) don’t know your full medical history. Congrats on getting your HRT, I hope it works super well for you 💕
