@Etsy Nah… On ticket has been open 4 months. The second was close manually a fee days ago after only 6 days idle. I was “escalated” from chat, and from here (no ticket) 2 times already, one was a month ago, no word since. No email is coming. Not waiting anymore.
Spent the evening contacting a dozen NY lawyers because @Etsy refuses to fix my 2 bot listing takedown errors (even when proofs of item being handmade has been sent). Fun times. Worse customer service ever seen, impossible to reach a HUMAN at all, the worse. To be followed…
@Etsy Ash @Etsy I already have a ticket open, i only get copy-pasted replies for 4 months + another bot error on 2nd item a week ago + a final warning on my account. Chat-help also escalated 1week ago, still no email. I’m done waiting. I guess i’ll spend the week looking for a lawyer.
I’ve been handmaking my work and selling on @Etsy for 18yrs with an impeccable record. And then 4 months ago, their bots are falsely claiming one of my item is infringement and not handmade and deactivated it..!?!? (1/5)
Wondering… @jgsilverman, did you approve the “Keep Commerce Human” campaign yourself? Cause it’s impossible for a seller to reach an actual human to fix @Etsy ‘s bot listing takedown errors. As a seller with an impeccable record for 18yrs, i’ve been trying for FOUR MONTHS…???
So @Etsy slogan is “Keep Commerce Human”. Really? In 4mths, i’ve not been able to get a human to look at my proofs, so that YOUR mistake is fixed! It’s time to do better, and quick. Buyers are not duped, they WILL catch on to your treatment towards the sellers they love. (5/5)

Yes, you read that right. @Etsy themselves make the errors, and then they turn around and warn the seller that if they themselves make another mistake, YOU the seller will pay for it greatly. How is that even possible?? This is absolutely NOT an acceptable business practice (4/5)
Then a few days ago, another @Etsy bot declared a 2nd of my items is not handmade and deactivated that one too. Except this time, i *also* got removed my star seller badges, AND got a “FINAL NOTICE” email. Which means, if their bots screw up again, they will close my shop. (3/5)
I then sent many PROOFS to @Etsy that clearly shows that it is indeed handmade, yet all i get is copy-pasted replies telling me an unacceptable “no appeal”. ALL I NEED is a HUMAN to take 5 MINUTES out of their day to just LOOK at what i sent, and then rectify the bot error (2/5)
