the way in that idol human theatre thing all they talked about regarding yeosang was how ‘he needs to be told things twice’….can we stop now, we heard it when you told us 134 times ago…
Hey @ATEEZofficial@kqent, is Yeosang even part of this comeback? No lines, no screen time, not even a moment in front during performances. And still no promotional content for him. Yet the other seven call this their "brand sound"? The hypocrisy is exhausting.
I doubt that Jongho wanted to appear for 5 seconds, that Yeosang wanted 0 lines, and that Wooyoung wanted the same in previous comebacks. The problem is not the members, ofc Yeosang has it worse than everyone, but it's clear they have no say in this...
For the people who are saying Yeosang got lines in other b-sides, why are we complaining. In case you didn't know he had the fewest lines in the last album, but no Yeodungie said anything & we supported the comeback coz he got good parts in tt, that's how important the tt is
Did you even listen to the songs yourself? Him repeating bad bad bad alone makes up around 10secs. Then there’s
fallinnnnnn which takes up around 40secs. Meanwhile the other members are actually singing full verses while he’s only repeating a single word. You called that a line?
And we listen to every song but you know damn well how important it is to have lines in the title tracks, those are the songs that are being performed at the big award shows and festivals, so yeosang barely getting parts in the title tracks means he will be in the side or back most of the time. What’s not clicking to you exactly? Is it really so hard to understand we want fair treatment for everyone, INCLUDING YEOSANG?
a main dancer who's just standing more than half the song because everyone is getting a solo part but him and the other half he's at the back, I'm honestly so confused and frustrated. this is BAD
We didn't know it could get worse but it just did 😭. Yeosang is not visible at all in their dance break, he's at the far back. and since all of the song is just solo parts highlighting every member except Yeosang, we'll only be seeing him in the chorus throughout the whole song, I think we just hit a new low of mistreatment

Mind you, Yeodoongies have been talking about ys’s mistreatment and lack of solo schedules for months. Now all of a sudden these dumb goofy ass people are asking, “Why are you only bringing it up now that another member got something?” Like, what are you even talking about?
At this point I am holding on to the last threads of logic trying to understand why an artist with Yeosang’s talent, work ethic, and public appeal is still treated like a background number instead of the person he is. Our angel has worked tirelessly for years to catch up to the rest of the group just to prove himself worthy of standing beside them, when he already had the same capabilities as everyone else. He was never behind. The system around him kept him there.
For the longest time I did not know what to believe. Nothing made sense. Not the lack of opportunities, not the way his visibility was always minimized, not the way his growth was ignored. Then I learned about the A and R system, and suddenly everything lined up.
A&R system (Artists and Repertoire) in this industry is the system companies use to decide early who gets pushed and who gets sidelined. The members they choose to invest in get exposure, brand deals, and industry connections. The ones they do not choose are kept in controlled, low risk roles no matter how much potential they show. It is not personal. It is structural. And that is exactly why it is so damaging.
When you look at KQ’s choices, the pattern is painfully consistent. Overshadowing Yeosang’s first pitch with a comeback announcement. Dropping a logbook the next day. Years of limited solo schedules. Years of downplaying his visibility. It fits the exact profile of an A and R decision that was made years ago and never updated, even as reality proves them wrong. If this is true, and KQ is holding on to an outdated internal hierarchy that keeps Yeosang in a box he outgrew long ago, then this is not just mismanagement. It is mistreatment! It is a system that sidelines him while pretending everything is fine.
And this is exactly why we need to keep speaking up about the mistreatment. Not only to demand better for Yeosang, but also to correct the narrative that keeps resurfacing, the narrative KQ refuses to address and lets fester. The narrative that says he is shy. That he does not want more attention. That he should be the one reaching out to brands. That he is choosing to stay in the background. None of that is true. None of that is on him. This is on KQ. Not Yeosang. Not the rest of the group.
It is obvious the company never expected Yeosang to become this popular or this well liked. Not according to their internal blueprint. And instead of adjusting their strategy to match his actual growth, they doubled down on the outdated version of him they created when he was a trainee. That is what happens when a company refuses to revise its own hierarchy. It traps artists in roles they have long outgrown.
And that is the part that breaks me. Because this is the reality of a K pop artist. Reduced to a slot in a system instead of being valued for the potential they actually show. Yeosang deserved a company willing to see who he became, not who they assumed he would be.

the last few days have shown that no matter how careful you are with your words, no matter how much you love and support all the members, it’s enough for the fandom to see that you’re a yeodoongie for them to silence you, dismiss your voice, and get upset that you’re pointing out yeosang’s obvious mistreatment.
and the way some of you try to gaslight everyone who brings up this issue raises a lot of questions for me. how are we calling this “personal perception” when the numbers are right there?
wake up. after 8 years of his career, he has fewer individual schedules than some members have had in a single year. if you’re somehow unaware that he often gets only 5–10 seconds of lines and screen time in songs and music videos, there are plenty of line distribution and screen time videos available for you to watch.
if none of this still looks like sabotage or mistreatment to you, then the only conclusion left is that you’re perfectly fine with it. so please stop pretending you’re ot8 and care equally about every member. or finally say something in yeosang’s defense.
and i don’t want to hear that speaking up won’t solve the problem, because then what will? silence?
