Hello #ttrpgfamily and #ttrpg fans,
I am Nico and I to celebrate my soon-to-be-released #superpower content for #dnd 5e known as Fragment: A Hero's Manual to Aspects and Ambience, I've released some free content to enjoy while light is on the horizon.
Meet BunBuns in the replies!
I generated this image in part with dall-e 2, OpenAI’s AI system that can create original images and art from a short text description. Upon generation, I reviewed, and curated the pictures to my own liking and take ultimate responsibility for the content of this publication.
Look! Using #dalle2 to generate magic items for #dnd using prompts of my creation and this amazing ai to create something cool!
So image is AI generate, with a prompt by me, curated/reviewed by me. Full disclaimer in the replies.
@Grimasaur I mean I guess yeah it's a no brainer technically, but "(...) for the good of all <X>kind." just hits different in a villain monologue.
@Dwarfinator2 @Spezzy_ @DnDWithPlumbing @LostHavenArt @WorldAnvil Ohh sounds great! The plot template should probably work wonders there actually now that you mention it. Thank you!
Fellow game designers who are good at maths. Do you ever worry that maybe your system isn't as easy as you think it is but that you are simply good at mental arithmetic??
@DnDWithPlumbing @LostHavenArt Okay but how do you plan out a single session? I live writing pages and pages of worldbuilding and setting, but I can't write a "beginning-middle-end" story as a d&d session to save my life
what is a complex theme you've been able to work into your game? and how?
think: loneliness or humanity vs. nature or hypercapitalism or faith vs. doubt or illusion of power or materialistic downfall or reckless vulnerability etc.
do you use NPC'S? side quests? magic items?
