@ayakalier@heldavison Yeah, I was trying to direct this to the author, not you. I read it all. People born here dont have Visas to https://t.co/AaG7hEQUTl think every aborigine has a visa?
She also omits the nature of their crimes
People don't get deported for misdemeanours.
@ayakalier@heldavison I am an Australian citizen with Aboriginal and Scottish heritage. If I commit a crime in Scotland I should expect to be deported to Australia, even though I could show my family Tartan. Either you don't understand the law or you are intentionally malicious.
@ayakalier@heldavison
Are you misleading the public on purpose?
Your headline implies that this case sets a legal precedent for Aborigines to be deported. It clearly does not and your framing is disingenuous fear mongering!
@realTanyaTay Yeah, can we please stop turning run of the mill statements into loaded phrases?
I'm surprised you didn't follow up with
Don't say "bread winner" because glutens
@mom_grateful@soulmeaning@clairlemon The point of testing is to get standardised result. If you have to give everyone a different test you aren't testing anyone.
@doolishworld @marchimark Often it's quite the contrary. I mean, ducks are made from evolution, but literally all ducks are also the product of rape. It may be effective to carry your genes going sometimes, but it sure as hell is inherently immoral and wrong.π€·ββοΈ
@soulmeaning@clairlemon Yes, but the tendency is to test either theorical knowledge by rote or applications of a specific technique because those things are quantifiable.
@worldschanging@0Tamahawk3 @BadMomRaven @NoahWashburn1 @_Vs_The_World @MarkRuffalo This doesn't make any sense. Like do you charge people a dollar to walk past your house on a public footpath? Nobody owes you anything for using infrastructure that existed before you were even born.
