@pegobry #Hottake: Minivans are the ultimate status symbol. You made it - there is no one left to "impress"! You got the girl, she agreed to marry you AND had your babies. Who needs the convertible?
@TotiTotinjo@GlobalCop Yes to this...before a big "system interchange" in 2 miles as people are settling in the right lane, including some slower trucks, and it wants to get ahead of them and merge later.
Maybe it will work, or maybe I'll look like a jerk.
I usually downgrade to 'Chill' mode there
@spotnonsense@cjsnowdon The yellow card was first given to the Argentine player for an apparent foul. The VAR flagged it for review because he might have flopped. Upon review, he did flop, so he got the yellow instead (his 2nd). He brought it upon himself. No flop, no initial foul, no VAR, no 🔄 yellow!
@simplydt@StanCollymore The links won't be as plentiful but the majority of distances (except the 3 South America matches) will be tiny, whatever the "intercontinental" marketing!
Even the Atlantic crossing is similar to a cross-country road trip this time!
(+another to Argentina/Paraguay/Uruguay...)
@Neduszn8 Eidur Gudjohnsen!
Chelsea in early 2000s before Barcelona, and Iceland during their Euro 2016 run!
No idea why that sticks...rare Icelandic characters with cool names...Eidur, Gylfi, Birkir...
@SawyerMerritt He did not specify the cost (or lack thereof) of the "ability to upgrade..."...seems some are interpreting as Free upgrade due to past impressions of futureproof for FSD...
@enricmm85 @slimechad @elonmusk Yeah, but they went there on a university "Study Abroad" trip (where they acquired a scarf, a barretina hat, and a pretentious "well akshually" tidbit about pronunciation of 'bar-seh-LOH-nah' or 'bar-theh-LOH-nah')...so it's exotic and victim-y enough!! 😄
@asmr_sleeptalk@CoffeeNGrit@MileHighMillion Yeah, the self-service required app/driver license, which makes sense. And yes they could track speed and behavior in the 1 hr/4 hr/overnight test drives...but my point was it was still more convenient and pleasant than a more formal test drive with salesman in the next seat! 😄
@asmr_sleeptalk@CoffeeNGrit@MileHighMillion Also, some locations, perhaps his example above, start/end the demo without any in-person service/sales center visit – just through app and the cars are parked in a 'reserved' spot in a random hotel parking lot.
High trust. Just get them in the car👍
@asmr_sleeptalk@CoffeeNGrit@MileHighMillion Yes. We had one when visiting in the evening where they said "Do you want to just take it overnight? Bring it back mid-dayish tomorrow?"
Just a driver license copy and we were off with the key card.
(Started similarly on a "whim"...and then ordered the Model Y a week later 😄)
