While we wait to export revival and import technology, let us not forget that there is a place for spirituality and human capital development. A nation needs both spiritual depth and skilled, innovative people to truly progress.
Dear Ministers,
Going forward, we may need to rediscover the ministry of the CLOSED DOOR.
Not every meeting needs a camera.
Not every conversation needs an audience.
Not every revelation needs a livestream.
And perhaps the question we should begin asking is:
WHO EXACTLY ARE WE LIVESTREAMING TO?
Jesus ministered to multitudes, but He did not give everybody equal access.
There were the 5,000.
There were the 70.
There were the 12.
And there were the 3.
Peter, James and John saw things others did not see.
The Transfiguration was not livestreamed.
Jairus’ daughter’s room was not opened to the crowd.
Gethsemane had levels of access.
Jesus could speak publicly to the multitude and then privately explain things to His disciples.
Why?
Because PUBLICITY IS NOT THE SAME THING AS IMPACT.
Paul understood this too.
When he wanted to deliver one of the most consequential pastoral addresses of his ministry, he sent for the elders of the church at Ephesus. Acts 20:17.
It was targeted.
It was relational.
It was weighty.
The risen Lord had messages specifically addressed to the seven churches in Asia. Revelation 2–3.
Paul wrote Timothy to Timothy.
Luke wrote Theophilus to Theophilus.
Scripture itself teaches us that sometimes the audience is part of the message.
Our generation must therefore resist the strange assumption that if something happened and the internet did not see it, somehow it did not happen.
Some meetings should have no cameras.
Some conversations should have no clips.
Some instructions should remain within the room.
Some sacred moments should never become content.
Because in our desperation to trend, we may unwittingly have turned pearls into content and then complained when people who were never the intended audience mishandled them.
Jesus warned:
“Do not...cast your pearls before swine.” Matthew 7:6.
The problem is not always the pearl.
Sometimes the problem is the audience.
And algorithms do not discern audiences.
They distribute.
Perhaps the next great move of God will require ministers secure enough to have powerful meetings that nobody online knows happened.
No livestream.
No clips.
No viral moments.
No pressure to prove that something happened.
Just God.
His people.
His Word.
His presence.
His instructions.
And the fruit will eventually speak.
We will have serious meetings again.
We will close some doors again.
We will recover sacred spaces again.
And we will do valiantly.
Enough said.
The ultimate relationship hazard:
Level 1 threat: A woman.
Level 2 threat: A religious woman.
Level 3 threat: A religious woman who is seeing a counsellor.
Woe to any man who is entangled with these women. To survive, he must navigate her superficial tears, her manipulative use of religion, and a therapist who systematically strips away his masculinity while teaching her how to keep him on a leash.
Your brain doesn’t know what time it is. Every time you replay that conversation from last year, that mistake from last month, that moment you wish you could take back from yesterday, your brain treats it like it’s happening right now. Same stress chemicals. Same alarm bells. You’re not remembering it. You’re reliving it, on a loop you built yourself.
That's because of two things: your brain doesn't know the difference between what's really happening and what you're just imagining, and neuroplasticity means that your brain automates things that you think about and turns them into programs that it runs without you having to think about them next time.
So, the more you rehearse something from the past or something you're just imagining, the more your brain builds out a reality as if that thing is still here right now.
The ninth Commandment of self brain surgery is, "I must believe that what I'm doing I'm getting better at." That means if you're doing things with your mind that are making your brain better at living in the past or worrying about imaginary outcomes, you're getting better at feeling worse. So knock it off.
Here’s the shift: you can’t edit the past, but you can stop rehearsing it. Every replay is a rehearsal, and your brain gets better at whatever you rehearse. Let's make neuroplasticity work for us and not against us.
We call that self-brain surgery. It's not easy at first, it's hard and holy work. But remember, you get better at whatever you repeatedly do
Philippians 3:13 says it like this: forget what lies behind and strain towards what lies ahead. Not denying it happened, but refusing to keep performing it. There's better stuff in the future, but not if you keep building a brain that lives in the past.
Follow me to connect neuroscience and scripture every day. Save this for the next time your mind hits replay. Share it with someone stuck on a loop.

Reminder that Liam Neeson was amazing at voicing Aslan.
He is still alive, he could still voice Aslan.
They are choosing a woman deliberately to ruin C.S Lewis work and mock Christ.
Not to be biased, but this is the truth about birthdays. The spirit controlls the physical. Deal with things spiritually first and the rest will flow to Gods glory.
I’ve never met someone that took issue with hell and it wasn’t rooted in their own pride… But sure, I’ll explain it.
You know how sometimes people do terrible things and they deserve punishment? That’s what hell is, the just punishment for our crimes against eachother and a perfectly holy God.
Now, I suspect you already understand the concept that people who do bad things should pay a price, so the principle is fine and you simply don’t agree with the severity? That’s not your call, that’s the judge’s call. God is the judge, and hell will be exactly what we deserve, regardless of your personal feelings about it.
It’s also irrelevant that the majority of humans go. If the majority of people are doing something terrible should we suddenly not put them in prison? “Oh I didn’t realize the majority are pedos, your honor it’s no longer a crime let them go.” That’s obviously absurd.
Now that I’ve explained hell, I have a thought. Why do YOU rage against it? If hell is a reality then what… you want to go there to prove a point or something? You think you know justice better than God? Why don’t you explain to me, like I’m five, how if hell IS a reality you’re justified in questioning God?
