The ACGME site visitor has come and gone from Greenville. The day went GREAT. By all indications the Mississippi Delta Family Medicine Residency is well on its way. Feed back was very positive from all participating. So now we wait till Jan. for the FM review committee’s results.

The journey continues. Family Medicine residents training in the MS Delta came one step closer with the Program application submitted June 14. We’re on our way to improving access to primary care in the MS Delta. Congratulations to Dr. Walker & Julie.

Great news today. The MS Medical Education & Research Consortium A delta based nonprofit consortium formed w/ the purpose of creating a family medicine residency in the delta received ACGME approval as the Sponsoring Institution. Hugh step in the journey to making this a reality
