its so upsetting to see how misunderstood nefer is, “we want more complex characters who arent nice” but you cant even handle her and fell for her facade, taking everything she does as face value, reducing her entire character to being mean

oh and also while i'm complaining about how people misinterpret lauma and nefers relationship can i say that i'm tired of people treating lauma like a poor helpless victim who has zero agency in her interactions with nefer. it does a disservice to both of their characters

"she's mean to lauma" she's "mean" to everyone, outwardly, to an extent. a major part of her character is that she struggles with vulnerability. she's guarded, closed off. she shows affection in other ways
