@Sorely97@steveroller7 “Happily” is crazy. At this point the Canucks desperately need offensive prospects. Not to mention overloading your rhd like that significantly limits play time and development of your younger players over time. I highly doubt they take reid in any situation tbh
@ron502908@brianhwc It’s not having hoping it’s being realistic. They don’t have a singular star player nor 1st line calibre player outside of petterson (who can’t be relied on). To succeed in this league you need to rebuild, sharks, avalanche, Canadians and every other team went through rebuilds
@ron502908@brianhwc There’s just about a zero percent chance this team makes the playoffs in the next 2 years and honestly it would be a net negative if they did. Their prospect pool along with their current roster is no where near it needs to be to compete.
@NickyBCjits@BuresFlow You’re overrating a lot of the prospects In the system. To win games and to compete for a cup you need elite level players, the only Canucks prospect with that potential is buium. Outside of him there’s no one with top line potential
@FlurryTck@BuiumTruther@nucksnationn@bigheadhcky@sorken_rick23 Grier said he’s taking best available definitely not gunna leave stenberg on the board unfortunately and we really don’t need d. Probably a 99% chance we take malhotra so unlucky to pick 3rd in a d heavy draft outside of the top 2 needing only offence
@mark_copeland@reporterchris He’s a good defenseman who will still be in his prime when they’re able to compete thus filling a roster spot? Im just saying that’s their literal only strong suit
@mark_copeland@reporterchris They don’t need defensive prospects at the moment they have beium, willander, hronek, on offence they have jack shit lol it’s not hard to understand
