@Black_X_elence@PubWanghaf maga, maga conservatives, republicans in general. when tucker was on fox news y’all didn’t love him? yall didn’t love candace during the biden admin?
@LazorikKri12620@ByuSome i was using a term of endearment that’s interchangeably used by younger people such as myself. i didn’t say “this person is homohateful and doesn’t like gay adoption, they must be a man.” do you see the difference?
@LazorikKri12620@ByuSome it doesn’t bother me at all. i was just trying to clarify an assumption you made about me based on a position i was defending. “he’s defending gay adoption so he must be gay” is a hasty generalization. if you weren’t calling me gay, i just wanted clarification on what you meant
@LazorikKri12620@ByuSome “stop calling it (homophobia) a phobia,” “we aren’t afraid of you,” as in you’re not afraid of gay people right? “we’re not afraid of YOU.” you’re telling me there’s no implication here that you initially thought i was gay? be so for real with me
@LazorikKri12620@ByuSome okay maybe you’re older, dude is commonly used interchangeably by younger people. me defending gay people makes me gay? like my entire straight identity is erased for defending gay people?i’m not name calling, just trying to clarify what labels you prefer
@LazorikKri12620@ByuSome first of all, dude can be used interchangeably. second, i’m not gay. third, it doesn’t really matter what the circumstances of the single parent household are. lack of both parents consistently present is damaging to the child no matter what
@sandiegotlmgoer@ByuSome so that supports part of my claim actually (that two parent households are the most important factor). now look up if same sex households make a significant difference in development of the child.
@LazorikKri12620@ByuSome you understand “single parent household” doesn’t only mean divorce right? can a child see their other parent if they’re dead? what about if their other parent wants nothing to do with them? also what a shock, the dude with homophobic ideology is homophobic
@stand4america83 @ByuSome on top of that, your stats hardly support your claim given the ridiculously small sample size (48 gay men). it’s commonly known in research that if you want to make broader statistical claims, you need a larger sample size.
@stand4america83 @ByuSome part of it is supply-side. boys in foster care, especially older ones, are significantly harder to place bc most couples prefer girls, including heterosexual couples. part of what that “preference” reflects is also just who’s willing to take these boys in.
@LazorikKri12620@ByuSome you just hate gay people in general twin. if you care about the child’s development that much, then perhaps we should take kids away from single parent households too right?
@stand4america83 @ByuSome if you need help, go on google and search “does the sex of a child’s parents make a difference in their development” and report back. it’s not even just studies there are so many articles on this topic
