went to the Batman 2 set in Glasgow and one of the security people said that they have to search the set for Irn Bru cans every night because the locals are trying to sneak one into the film and they keep popping up in the bins and hot dog stands lmao
“Burning Heart” was recorded by Survivor for the 1985 film Rocky IV, after Sylvester Stallone personally commissioned the band to create another high-energy song following the success of “Eye of the Tiger.” Written by Jim Peterik and Frankie Sullivan, the track perfectly captured the film’s Cold War narrative.
Released in 1985, the track became a massive hit, reaching No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks, where it was kept from the top spot by Dionne Warwick & Friends’ “That’s What Friends Are For.” It also reached No. 5 on the UK Singles Chart and topped the charts in Belgium and Switzerland. The song became Survivor’s biggest hit with Jimi Jamison on lead vocals, while the Rocky IV soundtrack climbed to No. 10 on the Billboard 200 and was later certified Platinum in the United States.
