@Skip_fr_Now@ZZoariah I don’t want to reply .. people who will read your tweet.. they will know well who is who.. someone doesn’t know difference between ITR and vote ID !! Chill 😎
Because if you want to cast your vote .. you need Voter ID not an ITR return or a passport. What kind of stupid argument is this .. SIR happens in every 10 year to check and verify the voter if he is charge his location died or any duplication.. this is normal process not happened 1st time
@Aquila37765544@mr_mayank Your language is all about your upbringing.. it’s ok. But how does it matters if it’s from Punjab or Delhi India has one SIR process. Sorry you uneducated.
If your name has been deleted from the voter list, Just go to your local BLO and file Form 6. It's free and simple.
This cleanup is long overdue. In many states, the last intensive revision of the voter list was around 2002. Since then, many voters have moved cities, many have passed away, and many names appear twice. These entries have to be removed.
If we don't support this process, ineligible names, including illegal immigrants, will stay on the voter list. In the end, it's genuine citizens like you and me who lose, simply because we didn't take a little time to check and correct our own entries.
अर्थशास्त्री जीन ड्रेज से "Where have you from?"

What courage? Walking into a protest without understanding what it's about isn't bravery, it's being misguided. Ask him to explain how the SIR works, or what the Supreme Court has already done on this case, and see if he can. Real courage is learning the facts before raising your fist.
Bhagat Singh is your idol, remember why he fought.. India had no vote, no Constitution, no courts of its own. He courted arrest and turned his trial into a platform because there was no other way to be heard.
You have every way he didn't. A vote, a Constitution, and a Supreme Court that is already hearing this case. Honour him by using what he died for. Protest peacefully ( if by law you have permission) , follow the law, and let the courts decide. Jai Hind. 🇮🇳
@wtffgauravvvv Courts don't decide cases by crowd size. The matter is already before the Supreme Court, with notice issued to the EC and the CEC. Packing its corridors isn't about justice, it's about pressuring judges. If the judiciary is for the people, let it work without a mob at its doors.
Fair point, and I agree.. evidence should decide this, not election results. That's exactly why it belongs in court.
And it's already there. On 5 October, the Supreme Court issued notice to the Centre, the Election Commission, the CEC and both Election Commissioners on petitions alleging unilateral SIR decisions.
It refused to suspend the CEC without first hearing his side, which is how fair investigation works.
So the evidence is being examined by the highest court in the land. What purpose do street protests, ultimatums to police and calls for resignation serve now, except to pressure the Court before it has heard both sides?
If you trust the evidence, trust the process.
90 crore youth?
Check your numbers. India's entire population is about 145 crore. Under the National Youth Policy, "youth" means ages 15–29, and the government's Youth in India 2022 report puts that group at about 27% of the population, roughly 37-38 crore. Even if you count everyone under 35, that includes crores of children, not protesters.
And how many of those youth were at your protest? A few thousand. That's not "90 crore youth," that's a small group claiming to speak for a whole generation.
The real youth of India are busy building startups, clearing exams, joining the armed forces, and voting. The 2024 Lok Sabha election had nearly 97 crore registered voters, and they chose their government at the ballot box, not on barricades.
No one is detaining "youth." Police detain people who defy prohibitory orders, whatever their age. Follow the law, and no one gets detained. Simple.
A "thorough investigation"? By whom, Ashutosh ji? Where's the report? You've just accused a serving police officer by name of facilitating violence, with zero evidence, no FIR, no complaint, no court filing.
If you truly have proof, submit it to the Delhi High Court, the NHRC or the Police Complaints Authority. Posting a "trust me, we investigated" claim on social media isn't a probe, it's character assassination of an officer who can't respond publicly.
And since you're so interested in political affiliations.. you accuse an officer of being BJP "unofficially," while you yourself came from AAP and now lead a "non-political" youth movement.
Let's also not forget the July protest record: permissions violated, undertakings broken, public property damaged.
