Good move but anyway no one ever claimed any cheque for those people. No one received any money from social security on behalf of those people. The only thing was their death date was never reported. Happy International Women’s Day. As an Afghan woman, I truly understand why being women is not easy. I was going to graduate in 2 months from a medical school and become a doctor but sadly Taliban took control over Afghanistan which caused lack of basic rights to Afghan women, we got ban from school and even being ban from speaking in public. My husband is international student at the @umanitoba he was stuck in Afghanistan but by the help of Mr James Carr (RIP) and @WinnipegNews he was able to evacuated and get his student permit. It’s been 3 years I’m living in nightmare. My husband applied spouse open work permit for me but IRCC refused it in 2024 without any reason. My husband is depressed and his studies are not going well because he is very concerned about our life, I have no idea how to reunite with my husband. God bless all women and happy women’s day ❗️
