I think #solarpanels in parking lots is such a great idea! I’d love to see more places make this switch! @sabmc

An interesting initiative by @Target to reduce #emissions and become #sustainable. I hope that they can branch out to other locations nationwide…and maybe even achieve #CarbonNeutrality @sabmc

There seems to be no “right” #solution for #plasticbottles. Recycling them may pose more health risks than buying new plastic bottles, but doing so also contributes to the problem @sabmc

A town in #Wales, #Gwynned, is being asked to work together as a community to find ways to adapt to the challenges from #climatechange. #ClimateAdaptation is slowly becoming a commonality as climate change continues to create unpredictability. https://t.co/C37wH7iYR4

This is both scary and concerning!! As #wildfires are predicted to increase in frequency and in intensity, #Arctic ice may melt faster than predicted! @sabmc https://t.co/7bkuHvJpdO

#CA state officials are calling on residents to #conserve water due to drought and extremely low reservoirs. However, I believe that until mandatory restrictions and fines are not imposed, there will be little effort by CA residents to make changes @sabmc

The very fundamental principles that #Darwin published about over 100 yrs ago are being brought to light as a result of #climatechange. European birds are experiencing changes to their size, habits, and morphology as a result of rising temperatures @sabmc

#China’s initiative to install 450GW of wind and solar energy capacity by 2030 in the Gobi Desert is ambitious, but it can be a #model to other leading nations to implement similar initiatives @sabmc

The sale of #illegal timber is the world’s third two criminal sectors and bring in an estimated $152B a year and is exacerbating the shrinking of #rainforests…ultimately hurting the fight against #climatechange @sabmc

While a new study showing that #lobecoral can cope with 2oC of global warming is interesting, it worries me that the implications of such studies may be misconstrued to mean that #ClimateChange and #GlobalWarming are not serious threats @sabmc

The impacts of warming waters on #Alaska’s salmon continue to be seen. Young salmon are feeding on nutrient-poor food and essentially starving. Communities that rely on the fish will continue to struggle as they move to new areas of Alaska @sabmc
