A worst kept secret is now coming out: if you want funds for your constituency, you now have to be on the right side of the party in power. Is this how a multi party democracy is going to work? These ‘development funds’ don’t belong to any party or individual but are paid for by us the tax payers: by discriminating between parties, a terrible precedent is being set.
