I agree with @NOMOREorg that the verdict of Bill Cosby truly does speak volumes about how our society's response to sexual assault IS changing, but I also think we still have a long way to go. #FHSfem18#nomore https://t.co/o26ectf8vH
This verdict sends the message that our society’s response to sexual assault is evolving, & that there is a growing recognition of the trauma it causes survivors. But what are we doing to address & change a culture that supports violence & assault? https://t.co/QugkRc4LUF
This article by @CNNTech describing how at least 103 uber drivers have been accused of sexual assault is completely unacceptable. This is an issue that uber should have taken care of right away, not waited to resolve. #FHSfem18#nomore https://t.co/QS6P78vj7Z via @CNNMoney
I think it's very exciting that women (and men) are FINALLY allowed to bring their newborn children on to the Senate floor thanks to @SenDuckworth. As the article quoted, "it's about time." https://t.co/C6bIkhXkVp
@RAINN shared this awesome visual done by @Google showing the rapid spread of the #MeToo movement labeled #MeTooRising. This campaign uses the internet and online platforms to help women see and claim their power like never before, bringing women from all over the world together. https://t.co/gbjLjM4rfK
The #MeToo movement is a worldwide phenomenon, searched in 195 countries in the past year. Visit @Google’s new #MeTooRising platform to see the growing global impact: https://t.co/1U1GgUcxak

I think it is very important we address these issues on multiple platforms, especially TV. If we make it less taboo to discuss these problems then we are better able to tackle the issues head-on.
@shondarhimes is a writer who has never shied away from the topic of sexual assault in her TV shows: “I don’t find sexual harassment and abuse in the workplace to be tricky territory. I think it’s very clear what’s appropriate and what’s not."

@realDonaldTrump declared April national Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Many find this move ironic as at least 15 women have come forward with accusations against Trump, ranging from sexual harassment to sexual assault. #FHSfem18#nomore@CNNPolitics https://t.co/XRc1oNX4Br
Insaaane how victims are still being blamed for the actions of their attackers. In no way did the outfits of the women have anything to do with Larry Nassar sexually assaulting more than 150 of them. https://t.co/BtbM9Fdq2T
It takes courage and bravery to come out about your story of sexual assault, even just to tell a single person. The #MeToo movement is an excellent example of how just one person and one story can start an entire movement (eventually leading to things like #TimesUp ). #FHSfem18 https://t.co/TfG38qUIrd
Support is available for victims of sexual assault and loved ones: Community rape crisis centers have someone available to speak with 24/7, no matter when the sexual violence occurred. #SupportSurvivors
@CNNPolitics details @evanrachelwood 's testimony before the House Judiciary Committee advocating for the Sexual Assault Survivors' Bill of Rights Act to expand the rights of survivors across the country. #nomore#FHSfem18 https://t.co/5UbpANgSWr
Something I find difficult to accept is the fact that rape that occurs within the military goes largely unreported and unpunished. How can we keep our country safe if we can't even protect the women who are actively risking their lives to protect us from sexual assault? #FHSfem18
This statistic by @RAINN is completely unacceptable. This means that, on average, there are 321,500 victims (age 12 or older) of rape and sexual assault each year in the United States. #FHSfem18#nomore
Sexual harassment/assault is a topic that NEEDS to be taught in school. The idea that it is a "taboo" thing to discuss must end as it happens everywhere to everyone. The only way we can end this cycle is by combating the problem at the root. #FHSFem18

This article by @BBC is about New York State's decision to sue the Weinstein Company, seeking money to cover damages for victims of alleged abuse by Harvey Weinstein, warning the world that the era of victim shaming and blaming is OVER. #FHSFem18#nomore

Democratic women wore black at the #SOTU to stand in solidarity with all the victims of Sexual Harassment. I think it is important to show that no one is above the law- not even the government (including @realDonaldTrump) and that the gov. sides with women. #FHSfem18#nomore
This article by @washingtonpost addresses the common response people had to the #MeToo movement- are we reacting too soon? It details why groups and companies are not. Women's sexual harassment claims have been overlooked for far too long. #FHSfem18

Many people don’t know what to do in situations of sexual assault as it’s not something taught in school or frequently discussed in the open. @RAINN01 is an organization that helps to aid survivors, educate the public, and provides a 24/7 sexual assault hotline. #FHSfem18#nomore
