A Story Of A Stray Dog Carrying A Damp Newspaper As His Only Toy Took Unexpected Turn!

Sometimes it takes just one caring person, one really good heart, for someone’s life to change in the most beautiful way.
Bingo, who was thought to be a pit bull puppy, came running that day proudly showing off his beloved “toy”- a damp newspaper in his mouth. From the dog’s appearance, it was clear that he was suffering physically from life in the streets. Therefore, the volunteer took a quick video and scooped up the puppy.

“Although he was actively walking the streets with his newspaper, his initial exam determined that he was severely dehydrated, parvo positive, filled with intestinal parasites, and suffering from sarcoptic mange at the time of his rescue"....
At the very beginning, when the veterinary team examined the puppy, Bingo weighed only a mere 11 pounds, and his belly was full of parasites. Within a month after the rescue, with careful care, Bingo began to feel better and even gained 8 pounds.

Once he had tested negative for the virus twice and had two negative skin scrapes, he was finally neutered and listed for adoption.

The pup seems to be truly enjoying his new life chapter and probably has already found his new favorite toy.

More than 15 dogs are reportedly dead in an alleged poisoning incident in Alappuzha.

Not one of them was a statistic.
They had names.
They were vaccinated.
They were cared for by local residents.
They trusted the humans around them.

Someone allegedly decided they deserved to die.

If this crime had been committed against pets in gated homes, there would be outrage. Why is there silence when community animals are the victims?

Poison is not animal control.
Poison is not public policy.
Poison is a crime.

The real question is not whether these dogs belonged on the streets.

The real question is:
Who poisoned them?
Who enabled this climate of hatred?
And why has swift action still not been taken?

A society is judged by how it treats the most vulnerable. Today, Alappuzha stands accused of failing that test.

We demand a thorough investigation, identification of those responsible, and justice for every animal killed.

In a first, a state forensics team is now investigating the murder of a community dog at Raheja Exotica, Madh Island, Mumbai.

This is no longer being seen as something minor. The brutality inflicted on Mickey has shaken the conscience of the country.
