So he did what lawyers do. He went digging...
And he found it. A federal law passed in 1866 that explicitly prohibits living people from appearing on U.S. currency. It's not a grey area. It's not open to interpretation. It's been sitting in the books for over 150 years.
The last time this actually happened was 1926 when a coin featuring Calvin Coolidge was minted while he was still alive and serving as president. The backlash was immediate. The coins were pulled. And the law was reaffirmed...
Now this retired lawyer has filed a federal lawsuit against the U.S. Mint not because of who is on the coin, but because the law says it simply cannot be done. Full stop...
No political agenda. No protest. Just one guy, a dusty legal statute, and a federal case that nobody in Washington apparently saw coming

We can really no longer point the finger at DJT with blame. We the American system have allowed this deranged psychopath to take the highest leadership position in our Gov, even after committing crimes that should have not only disqualified him from Office, but saw him put in prison.

It's convenient to hoist blame on one man, but really, it's s systemic failure of a system purported to be different from fiefdoms and kingdoms of bygone eras. What we are witnessing is proof that the American experiment of International rules bases order is a myth, and democratic empowerment by The People is also a myth. We are ruled by an oligarchy, by a cabal of sub-1%-ers, who have stolen this lands bounty and used to enrich themselves, committed vile sex-acts against children with impunity, all the while debt-burdening the population they are said to represent to the tune of trillions of dollars, with more to come, until we are hyperinflated away to the point of destitution.

Our very US Congress is bought-and-paid for by US Corporations, who are paid lobbyist, under the guise of Citizens United, enacting policy that promotes the S&P classes wellbeing, using the Patriot Act to surveil upon Us All, while ratcheting-up the total-control mechanisms of A/I. There is no common good anymore. There is the US Corporate good, the Military Industrial Complex good, the 1%-er's good, and the good of the puppet-heads they instill to run the highest echelons of power in the USA.

Sad fact, but true nonetheless. We can bitch-and-moan all we want on social-media, but that's exactly where they want our discontent, on the world-wide-web, not out in the streets or on Capital Hill, like they did in the 1960's when they pulled the same war crimes crap. Unfortunately, we are a lost culture and prepare for worse as best you can.
