There are hundreds of thousands of children like Mimi and Jack here in Australia who need our support. I’m moved by the generosity of CFA volunteers when they walk down our street for the Good Friday Appeal. Yesterday, as they passed by, my children wanted to donate some money.

1000km Walk for Freedom, we had over $1000 left from the funds raised. That leftover money was donated to our local SES unit after the walk - and that too was a proud moment for my family, friends, and all the wonderful people who supported us.

We need to ensure cultural safety is improved as we grow in population in our community. There is always a challenge and contradiction or denial for second-generation people when they have to meet with Australians who were not born in Australia.
