To chase a dream: (stick with me on the long tweet)

Yesterday morning at 6 am Jared Kinoshita bumped into the Americas Tour event in Saskatchewan Canada. The problem was he was in California.

He had jumped from sixth alternate on Tuesday to into the field so it took him somewhat by surprise.

He lives 2 hours south of LA but the only flight he could find that got him into Saskatoon was out of Burbank. $1300 later he had a flight that went Burbank-San Fran- Edmonton- Saskatoon that got him in at 10pm.

His girlfriend and he started the drive to the airport. He had no place to stay and no rental car once he got there but he had a tee time. The tournament told him there were no cars at all. He tried Uhaul, but no luck. The tournamemt director said he would pick him up if necessary.

“I kept refreshing every time I landed” and finally found a Ram 1500 truck. He booked it.

He also found a last second Holiday Inn. Things were coming together. Until…

His clubs and clothes didn't arrive. His airtags indicate they are both in San Fran still.

He got to sleep around 2am, I spoke with him at 430am this morning. He was on the way to the course.

His tee time is in 3 hours and he is trying to figure out what he can do. “I don't even have pants, maybe I can borrow some rain pants”

All to chase a dream. And I love it.
