Envy is the deadliest sin out there.
Charlie Munger tells the story of Mozart to illustrate this point.
Mozart was the greatest musical talent that ever lived.
What was his life like?
He was bitterly unhappy, and he died young.
That’s the life of Mozart.
What the hell did Mozart do to screw it up?
He did two things that guaranteed misery:
1. He overspent his income.
2. He was full of jealousy and resentment.
If you overspend your income and are jealous and resentful, you will have a lousy, unhappy life and die young.
All you have to do is learn from Mozart.

Almost two decades of owning my own business I figured it was time for a career change and to chase a dream I've always had. I started a new position as a wealth advisor at https://t.co/ZZQUAfXnGx last week and couldn't be more excited for the future.
@Sqwii I don't think you quite understand me. I'm not trying to be right or wrong. I have no problem being wrong. Just stating the facts about price. The market could do anything it wants to in May. Also, $AAPL and $MSFT are up 31% and 28% YTD compared to $NDX up 21%.
@Sqwii It actually is coiled. It broke out last week of March, had 3 consecutive inside weeks, and then ran all the stops below last week and finished with a huge hammer to close at the highest price in 10 months. Also, the MACD you referenced has turned up unlike in Dec 2022.
This is not a new normal. The ROC has decreased on all timeframes for the indexes. It's completely normal during the transition from a cyclical bear to a cyclical bull market. Happens all the time. #SPX
I think daily options in $SPY $SPX have now ended the previous regime where there used to be large moves of 50-60 a day.
This is the new normal.
Yes occasionally we may break out of this but on an ongoing basis strategies will have to now evolve for this new normal.
