@sbswan123@DrOBrienMD So weird this is a "liberals" thing. It's politics all the way down I guess. Comeuppance urge runs so deep it reaches the most mundane events. We must know the pool guy's politics!
@PoliticsFollow6@Qatilqatilshoua@varadmehta Speculating about what the Anerican public might think, since it's "less white" now, is pointless. What do you think of the deal?
@maxdubler@loganb He can also criticize it with a retweet if he thinks it expresses the criticism succinctly, and you can respond to those criticisms with your arguments, rather than personalizing and resorting to name-calling.
@phil_opus@Chens89@MeganTStevenson@jamesharrigan Your examples are poor. Not thinking that you, a stranger on the internet, have a really good idea about what mechanics do, is not a good example of cluelessness. Similarly claiming you can learn your mechanic's job but he could not learn yours is not a good example of smart/not.
@RepMoulton "The new fund is a private investment vehicle, not a reconstruction or reparations program and will not include any โ government money or grants" So, at least according to the article, Trump isn't "forking over" $ that would otherwise be spent on cancer research. This is careless
@ZaidJilani Let's not remember because casting these empty guilt-by-association aspersions is a tiresome lazy ploy. Make some kind of argument instead of just bad mouthing people.
@phil_opus@Chens89@MeganTStevenson@jamesharrigan Possibly a prejudice in thinking that solving problems in physical world is 'easy' (anybody can learn) because we have always done? Whereas writing business software is more difficult because abstract/new? Pure mind work, so marvelous! Until the machines can do it.
@phil_opus@MeganTStevenson@jamesharrigan Sure you could learn the simple skill of engine rebuilding if you wanted to, but your blockhead mechanic could not learn the mysteries of ... coding benefit calculations. Because you are smart and he is dumb!
