@TedUrchin@thecoastguy I always thought that he was a bit of a pretentious twat, but otherwise sane and intelligent. Turns out that I was only correct about the pretentiousness.
@carolvorders Frankly, I wouldn't trust many of the current batch of Tory MPs to wipe their own backsides, let alone care for the elderly or collect bins.
@fascinatorfun @chriswadeevans I'd imagine UK Intelligence can probably muster up a few security specialists who can figure it out pretty quickly. Nobody is asking him to switch it on, just to hand it over.
@LeroySkeete @argentedelcasti But he had lots of money "passing through" his business account in a completely normal, unsuspicious and definitely-not-criminal way.
@MarkoSilberhand @GunnyJ Whether you think it's okay for kids to handle firearms or not, what idiot lets their child point a gun directly at someone, with their finger on the trigger. Even if you "know" it's not loaded. It's just teaching them a really poor lesson.
@trx_dr@BladeoftheS Presumably that's why the banks haven't given him any explanation for closing his accounts. The fact that they've closed them does seem like a bit of a giveaway, though.
@Mistyswoman To be fair on the banks, Farage's accounts must be an absolute nightmare in terms of anti money laundering checks. Even if I had no issues with his politics and personality, I wouldn't touch him as a client.
The regulatory equivalent of being asked to look after a rabid wolf.
@DPJHodges Instead of, perhaps, blaming it on the fact that she and her predecessors came up with a plan that was obviously unlawful, unworkable, inhumane and economically idiotic from the start.
