@aegonism It’s certainly cutting some corners and taking liberties but these two in particular have already got storylines that veered far away from the book, might as well tie them together to solve two detours with one ending.

@aegonism This would actually make a lot of sense from a showrunner perspective - Rhaena’s fate is to marry a Hightower, and this way they don’t have to introduce a new guy, while Gwayne gets a bittersweet ending instead of death because he’s a fan favorite.
