PMO summoned Meta officials yesterday under the pretext of PM Modi's video takedown. But the real motive was to tighten the grip around Genz & anti-govt content.

Anything remotely critical of PM Modi gets taken down instantly, even if you don't name him.

Several of my Instagram posts have been restricted in India, where I satarized him without taking his name.

PM Modi was never a tolerate person, but now his insecurity is increasing with his age. He loves it when people call him tough, but fears of being mocked. Meta seems to get along with him atleast for now.

🚨 EXPOSED: The "mystery" truck full of stones planted near our Jantar Mantar protest site was a vehicle that had been seized and in Delhi Police custody for four days prior to July 20th.

Before we get into making a safe examination system, @NandanNilekani must examine the need for any entrance exam. Most exams are territorial power centres and business opportunities.

Take for example CUET. It is the most unnecessary examination Imposed on the hapless Delhi students that made the CBSE scores useless and killed school education. This was done to neutralise the AAP investment in government schools a waste. These kids cannot afford private coaching and a state topper is also denied a seat.

Similarly, NEET is useless for those who want to join a private medical college. The price differential (5 lacs and 1.5 crores) is so huge that at rank 30,000 all government colleges close their admission while even at rank 13 lac, private colleges are unable to fill seats. Private colleges are reserved for the rich 1% of India. If you indeed fighting against reservation and for meritocracy, shouldn’t you include this?

The TET, even JEE advanced, UGC NET etc can be modified to make it a test for those who don’t cross a certain level of education.

We must reduce the entrance exams. We must reduce the number of students who should take the exam. Increase the eligibility. For Ex: Make 80% in boards a qualification to get into all India institutions like AIIIMS, IITs etc. Make school education mandatory. Punish those in dummy schools. Hedge. De-risk. Spread.

Make sure that a 3 hour exam doesn’t become the life altering exam. It will reduce stress. Reduce suicides. The business of entrance exams has to be reformed before we reform the conduct of such exams.

कल जंतर-मंतर पर एक बार फिर इरफ़ान से मुलाक़ात हुई. वो वैसा ही था जैसा पहली बार मिला. जंतर मंतर के बाहर दरी बिछाए आंदोलन पर बैठा था. 20 जुलाई की लाठीचार्ज में पुलिस ने उसपर भी लाठियां भांजी. इरफान बताते हैं कि पुलिस ने उनका सिर पैर में फंसा कर मारा. कुर्ता फट गया. चप्पल खो गए. इरफान के पांव में चप्पल नहीं थे. उसे चप्पल भिजवा दिए हैं. लेकिन इरफान के चहरे पर वो मुस्कान थी जो उसे बाकियों से उसे अलग बनाती है. हर बार इरफान से मिलकर अपनी परेशानियां भूल जाता हूं. सोचता हूं ये इतना परेशान होकर भी मुस्कुराता है और हमारे हिस्से तो भगवान ने फिर भी बहुत कुछ दिया है.

इरफ़ान की कहानी लाचारी की नहीं हिम्मत की है.

His name is Mohammad Irfan. He lives in a broken 12 sq yd 1-room slum (with tarpaulin roof) with his parents and two sisters in Delhi’s Laxmi Nagar.

For his livelihood, along with his father, he sells ice slabs as a roadside vendor.

He cannot write, he never went to school, and all his education is acquired by asking questions to Google several hours a day.

From the Preamble to the Indian Constitution (Hindi version) to Urdu Shayar Ahmed Faraz and Kavi Gopal Das Neeraj’s poetry to legal rights of workers and minimum wage & hour laws in India, his knowledge is 10x more than the average brainwashed WhatsApp University uncles of India.

In the video, Irfan emphasizes on “garima” (dignity). The Preamble to the Constitution explicitly states: “assuring the dignity of the individual,” irrespective of their caste, religion, education, or economic status.

Irfan was discovered by The Lallantop’s brilliant journalist Rajat Pandey @RajatpandeyJF during recent student protests at Jantar Mantar. That’s real journalism India needs instead of the shameless mainstream media that is digging India’s grave.
