if i were lucky enough to receive $1,000, i’d honestly want to use it for my family and for the things that really matter to me. first, i’d give some to my parents. i know how hard they work just to give me and my siblings what we need, especially with school and our everyday expenses. there are so many things they sacrifice for us that i don’t always get to say thank you for, and being able to help them even a little would mean so much to me. and i’d also save some for my boarding expenses because i know that’s another thing they have to worry about, and i’d love to lessen that burden somehow.

i would also love give to my grandma for her maintenance medicine. she holds such a special place in my heart because she was basically the one who raised me. she took care of me, guided me, and was there for me through so many moments growing up. a lot of who i am today is because of the love and care she gave me. being able to help with her medicine and give something back to her would honestly mean more to me than I could explain. 🥹

i’d keep a small part for myself as savings too, since i’ve been saving up for a new phone. and of course, if I’m blessed enough to win, i’d also love to set aside part of it to share to this community. i know how happy and grateful i feel whenever someone chooses to bless me, and i’d love to pass that kindness forward and give someone else that same feeling. 🫶

As a student, I’ll honestly say I’ve never really held an amount this big before. $1,000 would mean so much to me and my family right now.

My third-year classes just started last week, and while working on our research, my laptop suddenly broke down. Most of my classes are also online, so getting it fixed is something I really need for school. $1k would help me buy a new laptop or a tablet I can use in my studies. I own a mac air since early 2015 or 2013 and it keeps lagging already, battery is also discharging from time to time. It’s due for replacement but I don’t have that much money yet to buy a new one.

Decent laptop here costs around $600-$700 suitable for my use, as I mostly use it for accounting, presentations, basic microsoft tasks. My degree is in the field of the businesses, so technology is really essential.

The rest would go toward my dorm fees, groceries for the whole fam, my Zalpen injection every 21 days for my RHD (I can show medication proof if necessary to verify), and a small outreach to pay it forward. It would really give relief and give me the hope I need to keep pushing forward without worrying so much of my financial burdens 🥹 I’ll post everything here for full transparency and make sure to credit you.
