I ordered a Tesla Model Y and the entire process was easier than getting a car insurance quote online. I don’t think I could go back to buying from a car dealership ever again.
@big_duca@bcherny The developers role now acts like a linter. Only there to check in and clean up, if needed. While AI writing your code works, it silently fails a lot.
This has been said a thousand times before, but allow me to add my own voice: the era of humans writing code is over. Disturbing for those of us who identify as SWEs, but no less true. That's not to say SWEs don't have work to do, but writing syntax directly is not it.

Complexity doesn’t mean your application is successful. I’d argue it’s the opposite.
Tariffs, treasury bonds, land leasing to American company’s… Or simply just help generate wealth through allowing smaller banks to lend to business that actually provide goods and services at the lowest level.
The challenge is that the unelected and elected government officials can’t balance a check book to save their life.
