@KySportsRadio The whole thing is ironic and sad. Pat is a wonderful person. She pays more than similar businesses. I seriously doubt a coffee shop employee would find a more amenable coffee shop. I am generally pro-union, as is ironically Pat!
@KySportsRadio The long time owner Pat retired and turned the business over to her son and daughter in law. As I understand it the new owners have announced they will shut down for a while to remodel. Meanwhile some employees want to unionize. I assume the employees have grievances.
I don’t understand not hiring a GM. Pope is basically taking people who already worked at UK and giving them new titles….and then adding an outside analytics guy
It still is missing the key person, the negotiator/Agent connection, that I think has hurt UK
But it’s his call
I’ll believe Milan Momcilovic bypasses the draft when I see it.
It would be really, really hard to improve his stock after the last two years.
49 percent from three on 7.5 attempts per game.
GOOD. NIGHT. That’s ridiculous.
Sadly, I’m not getting my hopes up.
I should clarify I assume this is Barnhart's gig the governor is referencing, although if there are multiple new $1 million jobs with "no defined duties" at UK, then that's also a wild revelation.
@KyleTuckerCBB C
Pope went for size and athleticism this year , which was wise, but not enough shooting and offensive talent.
If he adds a couple of guys who can score, and retains Moreno, Williams, Chandler, and Lowe he should be much better.
@KySportsRadio One has to wonder if the UK athletic department is a cesspool. AD “retires” to a made up $950k job, and they turn over NIL to JMI; when the wife of a JMI executive is an assistant UK athletic director.
I don’t understand the coaching decisions. UK has no offense with Aberdeen at the point. Why keep trying it?
Why play JQ and another big against this team?
