And today is a great reminder that parasocial behaviour exists and can genuinely be pretty alarming.

A huge amount of people on that list have never even spoke to the creator of the list/never really engaged.

I think it probably goes without saying but the person who made that doc is not well
I’m sad to see they haven’t gotten the help they need as this issue with parasocial relationships and harassing people has been going on for years at this point

@andorisms Like half of all Sw fandom creators are on the list 😭 I have a group chat on Instagram with other people who’ve been harassed by them and it’s been ongoing for years

@MollieDamon @andorisms It’s a person who is severely unwell who has been stalking and harassing Star Wars creators for years at this point.
They develop parasocial relationships and then feel extreme rejection when the people they’ve been following are freaked out by their overstepping
