African football making powerful strides and closing the gap on the world stage. Senegal 🇸🇳 pushed France hard, Morocco 🇲🇦 dominated Brazil, and the Ivorians currently holding their own vs Germany.
With favourable fixtures, I expect Morocco and Senegal to push for semi finals.
Serious display from the Dutch 🇳🇱.
Graham Potter needs to drop Isak vs Japan, and allow Viktor Gyokeres, whose devastating showing in the playoff dragged Sweden to the World Cup.
Gyokeres flanked by Taha Ali and Elanga would have the firepower to beat Japan and take 🇸🇪 to RO32
@eurofootcom An excellent centre-forward display from Brian Brobbey for the Dutch 🇳🇱, carrying over his impressive form with Sunderland to the world stage.
Still young and with few adjustments, Brobbey can develop into a powerful, all-rounded marksman capable of playing for a top 6 PL club.
@TheArsenalMind Arsenal got no room for sentimentalities and must grab this opportunity to establish dominance in the PL and make a serious push to end our long wait for UCL🏆. Get me Rogers/Barcola + Tzolis and Monga, and I’d have no issue with the ruthlessness to move both Trossard and Nelli.
@IbzzAFC That’s top of my wishlist for next season. Our record at Anfield and Etihad stinks to the high heavens. Arteta established incredible dominance over Chelsea, Spurs and United, now it’s time to deliver statement wins at Anfield and Etihad and end this decade old drought.
@afcstuff The Arsenal finally have an excellent set of fixtures to kick off the new season. While i expect most of our starter’s to go deep into the World Cup, which could disrupt our preparations, Mikel and the boys must aim for a perfect 18/18 points and lay down an early marker. COYG!!
@OsinachiNuel He’s seriously special. At 18, and he’s running the midfield and putting on a show against Brazil at the World Cup. It would be a dream signing for Arsenal, but he’ll would cost over £100 million, I’d rather Arsenal throw that amount at Morgan Rogers first. Need attackers badly.
And that was a compelling game of football. Morocco 🇲🇦 putting on a show, and a moment of absolute brilliance and an explosive strike from Vinicius Junior denied them a deserved HT lead.
Perfectly set for an enthralling second half. Can’t wait. #BRAMOR#FIFAWorldCup
Brazil 🇧🇷 vs Morocco 🇲🇦 should be a cracking game.
Under King Carlo, Brazil are going to be a major force at this year’s World Cup. I expect the Selecao to make a deep run, and get to the semis. They’re my outside pick to stop an all-European final in July. #BRAMOR#FIFAWorldCup
@SeppBlatter It’s unfortunate @FIFAcom is now led by a weak sycophantic fellow who lacks the courage to protect game. Infantino sold the beautiful game to nation led by a clown who not only damaged the career of referee Omar Artan but also disgraced the world football.

@TheArsenalMind An explosive, superstar left winger is the missing piece in Arsenal’s offensive setup. Vini would take the team’s attack to stratospheric levels. Arsenal should go all out for him this summer. Consider cashing in on Nelli, Trossard, Jesus to financially accommodate this Vini deal
@HandofArsenal@afcevan Priority left-wing targets, in order are:
1. Vinícius
2. Rogers/Barcola
3. Tzolis
Vini is the ultimate ceiling raiser, it’s complex deal though unless Madrid get Alvarez. However, swooping in Rogers/Barcola +Tzolis to replace Nelli/Trossard would be a serious offensive upgrade.
@eurofootcom Another predictable boring take from Gary Neville. Declan Rice walks into the midfield of virtually any club or country in world football, that’s the definition of world class player. Jude and Saka are in that bracket too. Expecting both Rice and Saka to stand out for 🏴 in #WC26
@scrapytweets With the emergence of MLS in midfield, I don’t think Arsenal need to invest heavily in another midfielder. The bulk of the transfer budget should go to a superstar left winger like Vini. Otherwise double swoop for Barcola and Rogers, and cash in on both Martinelli and Trossard.
@EduardoHagn Vinicius Junior is the one. Arsenal should throw everything at Vini and given the stalemate in his contract talks, tempt Madrid with some 100 million euros bid and force them to make a decision. Otherwise it should be Rogers.
My World Cup prediction:
Semi-finalists
England 🏴
Spain 🇪🇸
France 🇫🇷
Brazil 🇧🇷
Final: 🏴 vs 🇪🇸
Thomas Tuchel will coach a disciplined and defensively structured England side but Spain’s tikitaka would prove decisive. 🇪🇸 my pick to lift the World Cup trophy 🏆. #FIFAWorldCup
Chiefs @nonewthing, @EBL2017 ICYMI, the USA 🇺🇸 denied Omar Artan from reffing at #WC26, damaged his career and disgraced football world. As football men who articulates the game so well, your silence on this week’s events amid the global outrage is deafening. Say something!!
@nonewthing Quran on this in chapter 2 verse 256. No country imposes death penalty for leaving Islam and treats beliefs as personal conscience and not criminal issue. Ultimately, every soul shall taste death and each person shall stand before Allah and be judged by their actions and deeds.
@SkySportsNews@AgendaKE A commendable gesture by UEFA for standing up to America’s 🇺🇸 aggression who not only damaged Omar’s career but also disgraced the entire football fraternity. Hope @FA , @FA_PGMOL invites Omar as a guest ref in the @premierleague to reignite his career in the beautiful game.
@UEFA This is commendable by UEFA. Many thanks for taking a stand against USA 🇺🇸 who not only crashed Omar Artan career but also disgracing entire football fraternity. Hopefully, European leagues will follow suit and invite Omar as a guest ref next season and reignite Omar’s career.
