The current state of education made me contemplate teaching WTP this year. I decided that civic education is more important now than ever, and am so glad. We're on day 6, and the kids love it. Fantastic fifth grade conversations!!

@LindaRMonkJD I feel like the biggest second amendment issue is in the misinterpretation that all Americans should have guns for whatever purpose they desire. Maintaining a well regulated militia and carrying a gun to any public place you choose are not the same.

@OliverBooks Our local "Embassy Theater," which opened in 1928, was supposed to be haunted by a lady who fell from the balcony and died. They redid the seating when I was in high school so "the chair she died on" isn't there anymore. I remember loving the story and looking for her as a child.
