🚨BREAKING: FIFA’s Gianni Infantino allegedly met with Manchester City and PSG bosses for SECRET TALKS on several occasions during his time at UEFA
He also allegedly supplied them with confidential materials.
[@RuiPinto_FL]
Back in 2014, there was a man who was already aware of the irregularities involving Manchester City. That man now runs FIFA. The infamous Gianni Infantino, then UEFA General Secretary, abused his authority, shared confidential documents and, in short, outmanoeuvred the Investigatory Chamber, doing everything in his power to ensure that both Manchester City and PSG would merely receive a fine, avoiding a deeper investigation that could have led to a Champions League ban. All of these details were also revealed through Football Leaks.
Given his actions as UEFA General Secretary and, more recently, as FIFA President, I can only say, in my humble opinion, that Gianni Infantino has become a cancer on football and should have no place in the future of the game.
🚨👀 Man City's current CEO, Ferran Soriano, was FC Barcelona's vice-president when Barcelona were making payments of millions of Euros to the vice-president of the Spanish Refereeing Committee, José Negreira.
During Soriano's tenure as Barca's head of finances between 2003 and 2008, the payments to Negreira MASSIVELY INCREASED from around €100,000 per year to over €500,000 per year. 🧐
Football Leaks was launched exactly 11 years ago. On 29th September 2015, the first revelations emerged from a project that promised to expose, without filters, the corruption, fraud and other criminal practices that had been kept hidden behind the curtain. Back then, the game we all love was rotten. Third-party ownership was widespread, and even FIFA, football's international governing body, was facing a corruption scandal that sent shockwaves around the world.
Eleven years later, much of what was brought to light remains part of football's reality. Football changed, the money grew, the game became a global business, but beneath the glamour, the same questions about power, money and accountability remain.
All of a sudden, you found your keyboard again when it’s a defensive post about the Man city 114 charges, after spending the whole of yesterday telling people you don’t post about non-transfer-related stuff.
Fabrizio, you’ve exposed yourself as a PR machine for illicit organisations. People will never look at you with the same eyes again after this.
Your entire reputation and moral standing have been tarnished.
