Old Hillsong United worship songs are reminiscent of my good old “church~boy” days. Reuben Morgan/Joel Houston/Jad Gillies & others. In transition, they defined worship music like no other. Undiluted. Divine. Spirit~led. The nostalgia when I get hold of the songs now is UNMATCHED

When a hero stumbles, cowards rejoice. Nothing feels better and sweet for a coward than watch a brave guy fall. Schadenfreude.

And just like that, Brazil are out. Stunning. How dramatically the paradigm has shifted. The dark horses are now contenders in every sense. This WC has become delightfully unpredictable. What a topsy~turvy tourney this is panning out to be.

Ronaldo might be a footballing ‘god’, arguably, but that’s not entirely the reason we love him. This man is a symbol of hope, dedication and resilience. From a poor and disadvantaged orientations, institutionalized hatred and unwarranted, unfair criticism, he rose from the ashes.

[Bambo a Jania + Nuri @nelsonmgeni]

Amidst all the grim hate and vilification, he still transcends expectations beyond imagination and comprehension. A true model in life. An epitome of hardwork and resilience. I genuinely love this man. GOAT. 💪🏾

[Bambo a Jania + Nuri @nelsonmgeni]

Ostensibly, Portugal did not get the desired result because of Ronaldo’s flaws. Snuff out the negativity bias, CR7 had a flat supply line. The cream of Bruno~Vitinia~Neves offered nothing in football sense. You’d wonder whether they’re playing to fail the GOAT. The agenda.

I was strolling in Limbe Market the other day. Oh boy, I saw myself towering over every~body. On that day, I confirmed that I’m just way too tall. Munthune ndine tholo, eeergh! 😂👐🏿

[Bambo a Jania + Nuri @nelsonmgeni]

Neymar ~ King that smelt royalty but never was. Skill. Pace. Eye for goal. Everything an elite footballer needs & beyond. Fairly, no player was as skillful. He was the face of beautiful football. What ruined the heir apparent to the CR7~Messi dynasty? injuries? or just unlucky?

[Bambo a Jania + Nuri @nelsonmgeni]

Eras come to an end. That is inevitable. The end of some eras is, however, painful to gulp. Pep leaves City. Salah leaves LFC. This duo defined the PL, by a greater measure, and it’ll take time to adapt. We’d have to jump into an era of Pep~ and Salah~less PL. How rich.

[Bambo a Jania + Nuri @nelsonmgeni]

It is defense that wins you titles. Mourinho and Pep understood this principle way too early in their careers. Arteta had every arsenal to score goals before him, but lacked a defensive line that could grant him titles. This, this PL title, is the first of many. Congrats, Gooners

[Bambo a Jania + Nuri @nelsonmgeni]

Rooting for Arsenal for the PL title, not that I incline toward them, but, come on, they’ve played 2nd fiddle for 3 terms straight, & this must be their payday. Deservingly. Hard~work needs reward, whether by heavenly intervention or whatever force the football gods chose to use.

Life in the 1500? Hell by far. Laundry done using urine. Yes, urine. Zero bathing. Body odours were unbearable, but people lived with it. No toilet paper. Shells, leaves, maize cobs saved the day. In pain, toothache? No painkiller. No anti~biotic. No vaccine. Oh wow!

[Bambo a Jania + Nuri @nelsonmgeni]

It’s plausibly better for Arsenal to win the PL title this term. Like why would the best league in the world ostensibly be dominated by City? Allegiances and hatred for Arsenal aside, I’d be at peace if any team (Arsenal or not) wins the league. Change is good for the PL face.

This Mozambique side looks like a real darkhorse at this AfCON. Fearless. Defensively disciplined. Resolute. Southern Africa is well rep. South Africa and Moz zitinyamula. 💪🏾

… and these revelations can also help explain why Messi’s success is increasingly seen by many as having benefited from refereeing bias as the system appears deeply compromised. Could FIFA have been part of the plot? It might be a broader conundrum.

[Bambo a Jania + Nuri @nelsonmgeni]

In light of emerging court evidence that Laporta did in fact meet Negreira even after a series of initial denials, and unfolding reports that La Liga Ref’s Vice chair, Negreira, received €7m btwn 2003 & 2018, it’s easier to understand why many consider CR~7 the GOAT over Messi.

[Bambo a Jania + Nuri @nelsonmgeni]

South Africa have evolved into a classy, exquisite footballing side. Ma guy akuswa beautiful football and arguably unmatched so far, by a greater margin. And they’re marking such performances with fine goals.

Fully rooting for Bafana Bafana in this AfCON.

If Haaland maintains his current trajectory, he will undeniably enter the conversation for the greatest PL player of all time. He’s rapidly ascending into the echelons of the league and the game. Aura.

Given their lofty standards & the squad depth & quality, Madrid should’ve been leading La Liga. Their failure to do so points to issues of coaching & management. Alonso appears unprepared to handle the egos in the dressing room. The dip in form of Vini & co. is incomprehensible.
