So today was the first day of my first school placement! Apart from a few naïve mistakes in terms of traffic and commute it was great to finally see some theory in practice, can’t wait to carry on!!

@MathigonOrg I can find 50 for the 5x5 grid but struggling to generalise, lots of possible shapes and combinations as n grows!!

A tough one today, took a little longer to look at!! Took some research into divisibility by 11 and 2 whiteboards worth of working out, but some nice permutation practice, tempted to try this 20/30 times and see if I stumble across any multiples of 11!!

Nice little geometric problem for day 2 of this advent calendar, I missed yesterday’s puzzle but shall try and keep up with the remaining 22!! This final area gives an answer just over 1 (1.027...)

A few mirror musings for the week, open to any corrections or suggestions on this one. I forgot to add, the top of the mirror should be hung approximately 194cm off the ground. This may change if it was used by a basketball team or Snow White and the 7 dwarves!
