Less than 48 hrs after pay day, monthly pay a little over NGN200k, currently sitting with less than almost empty balance across all accounts, wallets, whatever you call it, no savings, just on ending debts, the downward spiral doesn't seem to end, it's been 3 years of one hell of a financial roller-coaster, rent was due as early as last year, been just squatting from place to place, in my late 20s, nothing to my name, no pressure but I knew the trajectory I was on, watching me become things I never imagined messes me up everyday, sometimes I lowkey wish for a silent exit, but I'm a fighter, isn't every Nigerian one? Didn't think I'll survive this week, but a little sincere prayer here and there, I made it, to think I've a job and can put my life together, how about those that have nothing, those that don't know where their next meal is coming from, it's crazy, now I'm more scared than ever, I dread the day, I'm only friends with the night and it doesn't stay around for long, I'm not sitting, folding hands and hoping for a change, I'm trying to make my own luck, always wanted to work off shores since I was a kid, applied to different companies, rejection mails here and there, but guess what, I've applied again, it's been days, no rejection mail, fingers crossed, this could be the game changer, I really hope, haven't had much luck with my little permutations in these numbers game of FT X, don't know how I make it through the days, it's been God and good friends turned brothers and a couple of angels in the form of women, I'm not one to cry about things openly, but I think there's only so much fight a guy can put up, on that note, this is my shout for help.
