I envision a world where deploying networks that connect sentient beings across the universe is effortless, and I am committed to making that vision a reality.
After 13 years contributing to the OpenWISP community, collecting feedback, taking notes, and researching, I’ve distilled my vision into the Roadmap to 2030. 🚀Scalability, universal protocols, and easier deployment ahead. https://t.co/OcofDi38II
No viven ahí. Viven en naves enormes, conectadas a red eléctrica, agua, fibra, permisos, suelo y capital. Si Europa quiere soberanía tecnológica necesita electricidad barata y abundante, permisos rápidos, nuclear, gas donde haga falta, datacenters, ingenieros y dinero privado.
@scottmelker I am glad I never felt the need to do a lot of drinking. But I like to have a beer or two every now and then. Sometimes a glass of wine. Rarely some gin. Can't be so bad. A bit of everything in moderation. Why so extreme? From a lot of drinking to no drinking at all, chill dude
@planbparaguay I mean even in Rome people are far more aggressive at the wheel than Paraguay and in Italy is far too common seeing people getting out of the car to insult you and fight, happened to me a number of times in Rome but never in Paraguay
@planbparaguay I live at an intersection where every fucking week there's an accident, signs are terrible and people do mistakes, but road bump is in the wrong place and too old, not visible either, stop sign covered by trees and hance some people don't stop at the intersection 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
@planbparaguay Nah, I've seen other places having far more dangerous drivers. What you say is kind of true, but I wouldn't blame only the drivers, stupid/distracted people are everywhere, but in the EU roads have lots of safety nets not existing at all in Py, signs and roads suck
@planbparaguay EU/US even Argentina and Chile are light years ahead compared to Py. In Py I know a woman who fucking became paraplegic because while raining she fell into a hole and lost control of her car
software engineering in 2026:
- your package manager is compromised
- your cloud provider blocks your account
- github itself is hacked
software is solved
@lugaricano Nah, I just saw yesterday another video citing studies about how television coverage in the 20th century marked the beginning of this. It's most probably correlation, not causation.
Global recognition in open-source innovation at TIET.
We are proud to share that Sarthak Tyagi, Yash Agarwal, and Pushpit Kamboj have been selected for Google Summer of Code (GSoC) 2026 - Google’s prestigious international open-source program.
Through GSoC, students from across the world contribute to leading open-source organizations under the guidance of experienced mentors, gaining exposure to large-scale real-world software development.
The selected students and organizations are:
• Sarthak Tyagi (3rd Year, COE) - OpenWISP
• Yash Agarwal (3rd Year, COPC) - Apache Software Foundation
• Pushpit Kamboj (4th Year, COE) - OpenWISP
This achievement reflects strong technical expertise, collaborative problem-solving, and excellence in open-source development.
We congratulate the students on this outstanding global accomplishment and wish them continued success.
Many paths. One purpose. Seeking excellence together.
