Built a Python tool to farm Polymarket LP Rewards in case of a potential platform airdrop.
Seeing a lot of people talking about it on Twitter right now. I’ll share the results later.
But honestly, I’m not really convinced there’ll be an airdrop.
👀 Been watching something interesting across crypto Twitter lately.
It’s not that people are intentionally pushing scams.
It’s more subtle than that.
Large accounts with huge audiences are starting to publicly build portfolios — and they’re putting serious size into the same group of L2 and Robinhood-related tokens.
That’s where I start getting uncomfortable.
I’ve probably become a bit of a Robinhood hater at this point 😂
But seriously — Robinhood is still an L2.
Yes, they’ve executed well.
Yes, the distribution is impressive.
Yes, the ecosystem could grow massively.
But people are already talking about it like the next SOL.
What exactly is the mechanism that gets it there?
Are millions of Robinhood users suddenly going to stop buying Tesla and start rotating their portfolios into $500M–$800M crypto tokens and random ecosystem memes?
Maybe.
But that’s a pretty massive assumption.
And this is the part I really don’t understand:
People are deploying serious capital into tokens already sitting at $500M–$800M valuations.
What’s the actual target?
$3B?
$5B?
$8B?
And more importantly — who is buying from them at those levels?
The trade is becoming extremely crowded before the supposed mass adoption has even happened.
At that point, you’re no longer betting on discovering the narrative early.
You’re betting that an even larger wave of buyers will arrive after you.
Maybe they will.
Maybe the entire crowd makes a fortune together.
Or maybe the same crowd eventually becomes the liquidity for everyone who got in earlier.
From everything I’ve seen in crypto, the second scenario deserves a lot more attention than it’s getting right now.
I could be completely wrong.
And honestly, I’d be happy to be.
Curious what you guys think. 👀
A few thoughts on perp DEXs.
I was pretty happy with what TreadFi delivered. Hopefully Variational can make good use of the current local bullish momentum and give us another strong run.
Right now, there are 4 perp DEXs expected to launch their points programs in October–November. I think a lot of users will rotate into them after the Variational campaign.
That’s why I think getting in early makes the most sense right now — before the wave of farmers arrives and points start getting heavily diluted.
The interesting part is that points are already accumulating retroactively on several of these platforms, so being an early user could matter quite a bit.
@perpmefun I wonder why Signal managed to achieve such success in just two days? Maybe it’s down to marketing, too? Everyone on Twitter is hyping it up right now.
