I don’t know if that changed at all with K2 but a common issue with Groovy/Kotlin/Scala has been hard to understand compilation errors and poor ecosystem tooling (javadoc, build tooling etc)

@epragt Having done both it is perfectly doable you just need a different philosophy.

Test driven development and almost 100% test coverage with well structured, easily navigable and discoverable tests is a must.

That said I prefer static typing 🙂
