Ya know this post is gonna cause some controversy but this is the reality… a lot of brands/people in this industry have a major disconnect around passion and money. These new age hustles, under 30, which are the future could give a flying fuck about passion. They only want the money. Most brands have zero cultural impact at the street level because of this reason. Most brands are/will fading/fade away because of this. The heady community is less than 1% of the industry. If that’s your target audience you lost the plot. Targeting them is fine but making them the focus limits what you can accomplish as a brand. The moment you realize this your brand will take off immediately. Go talk to the average 30 year old from the Bronx about passion for the plant. Lmk how that works out. These kids look up to Scarface. You talking passion to them? Get real.
