Shopify is bloated with apps, with AI it’s getting even worse. At this point it’s only make sense to create apps if you niche down and have customers already, otherwise it’s a race to the bottom. @malisauskasLT just making app is not enough, I already tried built like 4 apps, even before AI bubble, made some bucks, but it’s not worth it for me.
That works if you are young and have no family to support, you can't quit if you have kids, and 1.3k is nothing...
And achieving even small success in SaaS world is hard, it takes years of hard work and good chunk of luck. 98% fail and we read these 2% who says - "you can do it, it's not that hard", yeah right. Don't be a blind fool; in most cases, you will achieve greater success by advancing your career and investing than by becoming a successful entrepreneur.
@kalashvasaniya Who reads AI generated slop? Clicks is ok, can you share how long user stay, bounce rate etc?
I most cases it will be around 90% because nobody cares about AI garbage, and people easily notice that.
If you want to become a successful entrepreneur on X, you need to start selling shovels to other founders. That's what pretty much the entire indiehacker community does.
