I love how loud this lady has always been with sickle cell awareness. Her sister must be so proud of the work she’s doing.
That being said, black people in the U.K., please register to donate blood.
one thing i absolutely must do, is somehow significantly reduce my excessive and unproductive social media scrolling in 2025.
it has to be regulated if i am to move forward in this life.

Going to say what works for me, genuinely works. If you actually take things for what they are and not what was/could have been, they become ugly. The same way I don’t desire expired fruit, is the same way I don’t desire something that can’t nourish me anymore.
Eight years since I first shared my journey with the world, and more than 14 years of being in recovery from pornography and sex addiction. Recovery isn’t just a word—it’s a way of life. It’s a commitment to reclaim what was lost, to heal from what was stolen, and to discover parts of myself I never knew were there. Recovery is an ongoing process, a constant renewal where I’m always getting my life back, one day at a time.
If you’re struggling, know this: you are not alone, and healing is within reach. There’s a path forward, no matter how dark things might seem. Recovery is real. It’s hard work, but it’s worth every step. Reach out. Find your support. Take that first step.
Let’s lift each other up on this journey. 🙏

I just made an “invest in myself” list, where I wrote down all the things about myself I want to invest in and how often I want to do so. Beauty treatments, hair care, my wardrobe, travel, wellness experiences. I want to envision the woman I’m becoming and what she requires.
